Before Your Stay

Driving Directions

From Toronto, head north on Highway 400. Once you reach Barrie, continue north on the 400 towards Parry Sound. Take Exit 189 toward MacTier (old Highway 69).

You will pass Foots Bay, which is at the corner of Lake Joseph Road (Highway 69) and Highway 169. Continue past Foots Bay on Highway 69 for approximately one minute.

Look for the private cottage road numbered 8150, named Linkert, directly in front of a billboard on your right. Proceed on the private road to number 4, marked Baypoint. View the driveway entrance on Google Street View →

Entry Door Combination

The door code you were given is unique to your stay. It will only be active during your scheduled stay and will automatically deactivate on your departure.

To unlock the door (from outside)

1. Wake the keypad by tapping it with your palm — the numbers will light up.
2. Enter your 4-digit door code (####).
3. Press the ✓ (Check) button to confirm.
4. The deadbolt will retract automatically — open the door. A green light and short beep means the code was accepted; a red light and long beep means it was rejected.

Note: Five wrong attempts in a row will temporarily lock out the keypad for about 3 minutes — wait it out and try again. If the keypad does not wake up at all, the lock battery may need swapping — text or call us at 519.404.4274.

To lock the door (from outside)

1. Pull the door fully closed behind you.
2. Wake the keypad with your palm, then press the 🔒 (Lock) button once — the deadbolt will engage automatically.
3. Give the door a gentle push or pull to confirm it is locked.

Parking

Please park only in the designated parking spots. Do not park in front of the garage doors or on the lawn or sidewalk.
